Werregue Basketry
Werregue basketry comes from the Colombian Pacific in Chocó, where Wounaan and Emberá weavers build figurative patterns through fine spiral coiling, among the most complex basketry techniques in the world. Each collectible basket or decorative art object takes four to six months. Format, scale and pattern are co-designed with galleries and interior projects.
